Usage & Dosage

Glucosamine-Extra is a tasty tablet and can be given as a treat or crumbled and mixed with normal food. The recommended dosage is 1 tablet per day for dogs up to 10 kg body weight, 2 tablets per day for dogs of 10-20 kg body weight, 3 tablets per day for dogs of 20-40 kg body weight and 4 tablets per day for dogs with a body weight of more than 40 kg or as recommended by your vet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. After 4 to 6 weeks, you can gradually reduce the dosage by half a tablet per week until half of the starting dosage is reached. If symptoms return, the dosage should be increased again.
