How it works

The Formule W Wart Pen uses the patented TCA-Active method based on trichloroacetic acid. This medical device provides a local, chemical peel of the affected skin layer. The blue gel clearly colours the treatment area, so you can see exactly where the liquid is active. Through the successive peeling of the thick skin layers, the wart disappears along with the underlying virus that causes the wart, after which the skin can renew itself and healthy skin emerges.

Use & Dosage

For plantar warts, take a foot bath beforehand and/or treat the wart with a file, rasp or pumice stone so that the wart is softened. Protect the surrounding healthy skin during treatment by applying petroleum jelly with a cotton swab.

Apply one drop of Formule W TCA-Active Gel to the wart to be treated using the pen. If the wart is not completely covered, carefully apply another drop of gel. Wait 10 to 15 minutes for the gel to dry before putting on socks, shoes or gloves.

Repeat this treatment for 4 days, 2 times per day (for adults). If the wart has not completely disappeared, you can repeat the treatment after a break of four days.
