Nicotinell Mint 1 mg, lozenge. This medicine helps you to stop smoking. The lozenge contains the active substance nicotine, which is slowly released and absorbed through the oral mucosa when sucked.

To be used as an aid to stop smoking.

• You are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine.
• You are a non-smoker.

Always consult your GP or pharmacist before use if:

• You are taking medicines such as theophylline, antidepressants, antipsychotics, beta-blockers, medicines for heart rhythm disorders or for cancer.
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You have (severe) asthma or COPD, heart disease and/or diabetes.
• You have had previous unsuccessful attempts to stop smoking.

Do not use if you have:

• Heart disease, have had a stroke, circulation problems, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes, kidney or liver problems, or inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.
• Do not take at the same time as coffee or acidic drinks.
• Do not use for longer than 9 months.

Each Nicotinell Mint 1 mg lozenge contains 1 mg nicotine (in the form of 3.072 mg nicotine bitartrate dihydrate).
