How it works
The liquid is hypotonic and contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural polymer that also occurs in the human eye. Due to its specific composition, the gel forms a stable, transparent layer on the eye surface when blinking. This layer remains present for a long time without blurring vision, which is essential for maintaining a healthy moisture balance during persistent dryness.

Ingredients
1 ml of solution contains 3.0 mg of sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium phosphate, sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, and water for injections. The solution is hypotonic.
Use & Dosage
Twist off the cap of the ampoule. Tilt your head backwards and hold the tip of the ampoule above the eye to be treated. Pull down the lower eyelid with the index finger of one hand. Squeeze the ampoule and a drop of Vismed Gel will easily fall out. Unless otherwise recommended, apply 1 or 2 drops of Vismed Gel into the eye as often as needed. When you blink, the solution spreads and forms a transparent and long-lasting layer on the eye surface. Vismed Gel can also be used while wearing contact lenses (hard or soft).
