How it works
Lomatuell H acts as a neutral intermediate layer between the wound and the absorbent dressing. The wide-meshed network of 100% cotton is saturated with a hydrophobic substance that keeps the wound edges supple and prevents newly formed tissue from growing into the dressing. Use & Dosage
The wound must be cleaned before application. You can then apply Lomatuell H with a 1 cm overlap over the wound edge. For heavily exuding wounds, you can place a highly absorbent dressing on top of the Lomatuell H. For moderately exuding wounds, you can place a gauze or non-woven compress over the Lomatuell H. To create a warm, moist wound environment, you can fix the Lomatuell H in place with a polyurethane film. For infected wounds, an air-permeable fixation is desirable.
