Small skin injuries such as cuts or abrasions can hinder your daily routine if they are not treated correctly. A dressing that sticks to the wound not only causes pain upon removal but can also re-damage the fragile, healing tissue. Lomatuell H gauze dressing offers a reliable solution by forming a protective layer that allows the wound to heal undisturbed.
- Hydrophobic impregnation prevents the gauze from sticking to the wound for a comfortable dressing change.
- Wide-meshed structure of 100% cotton ensures excellent transfer of wound exudate to the overlying dressing.
- Compact size of 5cm x 5cm is ideal for smaller injuries in both children and adults.
- Contributes to an optimal wound environment, which is essential for responsible skin support.
How it works
Lomatuell H is a classic ointment gauze that has been used for professional wound care for decades. The open structure of the cotton allows air and fluids to pass through, while the hydrophobic ointment mass keeps the wound edges supple. This prevents drying out and promotes an undisturbed healing process. As part of your first aid kit, this product offers the quality and certainty you expect from your trusted health partner VitAdvice.

Use & Dosage
The wound must be cleaned before application. You can then apply Lomatuell H with a 1 cm overlap over the wound edge. For heavily exuding wounds, you can place a highly absorbent dressing over the Lomatuell H. For moderately exuding wounds, you can place a gauze or non-woven compress over the Lomatuell H. To create a warm, moist wound environment, you can fixate Lomatuell H with a polyurethane film. For infected wounds, an air-permeable fixation is desirable.
