Ingredients
Hedera helix (Ivy) dry extract, potassium sorbate (preservative), anhydrous citric acid, xanthan gum, flavouring, sorbitol, water.
Use & Dosage
The usual dosage is as follows: Children aged 4 to 5 years: 2.5 ml of syrup twice daily. Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 ml of syrup twice daily. Children from 12 years and adults: 5 ml of syrup three times daily. Use the enclosed measuring cup for this. Take in the morning and evening, shake well before use.

Do not use Prospan cough syrup if you are hypersensitive to Hedera helix dry extract or any of the excipients. Do not use in children under 2 years of age due to the risk of worsening respiratory problems. Do not use in case of: stomach ulcer or inflammation, shortness of breath or fever. Do not use together with cough suppressants. Contains sorbitol; be careful if you have an intolerance to certain sugars. Consult a doctor if you cough up blood, experience shortness of breath, fever, or if symptoms do not improve within 3 days or persist for longer than three weeks. Read the package leaflet before use.
