Vegetable activated charcoal, citric acid monohydrate (E330), glycerol (E422) and acacia gum (E414).
Use & Dosage
For adults and children from 12 years: In the case of acute poisoning and overdose, the contents of 1 to 2 vials should be administered as soon as possible (= 50-100 g activated charcoal). In case of severe poisoning, after the first administration, a dose of 20 g should be taken every 4 to 6 hours for a number of consecutive days (approximately 160 ml suspension). Shake the vial vigorously before each use. For children between 4 and 12 years: Administer ½ vial orally. For children younger than 4 years: Give a dose of ¼ vial first, repetition only in consultation with a doctor. Preparation: Shake the vial well to loosen the granules. Add water up to the red mark. Close the vial and shake vigorously for 1 minute. Open carefully and use the suspension immediately.

Do not use if allergic to any of the substances. Do not use in case of poisoning by corrosive substances (strong acids or bases), as this may hinder medical examination of the oesophagus or stomach. Do not use in case of poisoning by iron, lithium, thallium, cyanide, methanol, ethanol, ethylene glycol or petroleum-containing substances. There is a risk of dehydration; drink 2 litres of water per day. May reduce the effect of the contraceptive pill, blood thinners, heart medication (digoxin), anti-epileptics or medicines for bipolar disorder. Do not use in combination with anti-diarrhoeal agents. In case of poisoning, always contact a doctor or the poison control centre immediately. Read the package leaflet before use.
