How it works

The effect of HG Wood floor oil is based on a unique property: once it has penetrated the wood, the formula hardens completely. Unlike superficial coatings, this oil saturates the wood fibres from the inside. This prevents dirt and moisture from penetrating deeper into the floor, while the natural wood structure remains visible and tangible. This ensures durable protection that supports the lifespan and warm appearance of your wooden floor.

Use & Dosage

Follow the steps below to protect wooden floors against dirt, stains and dehydration with HG wood floor oil (product 60):

1. Shake the product well before use and then apply HG wood floor oil thinly to the wooden floor.
2. Rub this out immediately with a clean and lint-free (tea) towel, so that the oil is also completely absorbed by the wood.
3. Do this 1 to 2 times, until the wood is saturated and no longer absorbs oil.
4. Remove excess oil immediately.
5. After a few hours, the floor can be walked on carefully again.
6. After 24 hours, the oil has fully hardened into the wooden floor and can be walked on normally.
7. 3 days after the treatment, the wood is optimally protected.

Transport and store the bottle upright. Absorbent materials (cloths, etc.) that have come into contact with this product can ignite due to spontaneous combustion while drying. Therefore, let the used materials dry well spread out in the open air. Alternatively, you can pack the used materials in an airtight bag after you have completely soaked them with water, before throwing them away.
