How it works

HG Stain Away no. 3 uses a powerful combination of aliphatic hydrocarbons and non-ionic surfactants. These ingredients work synergistically to break down the strong bonds of waxes, resins and sticky tar compounds. By soaking or dabbing the stain with the liquid, the solid substances are liquefied and encapsulated, allowing them to slide effortlessly out of the fibres during rinsing with warm water.

Usage & Dosage

Follow the steps below to easily remove candle wax, resin & tar stains from textiles:

1. First treat a small inconspicuous part of the fabric and test it for colourfastness.
2. Then remove as much of the stain residue as possible.
3. Fill a small bowl with HG stain away 3 and place the part of the textile with the stain in the bowl.
4. Let the stain remover soak for 10 to 15 minutes.
5. Then rub fabric against fabric and rinse well with warm water.
6. Repeat the treatment if necessary and let it soak for a longer period, but do not let the liquid dry out.
7. For smaller stains, place the textile on an absorbent white surface, for example a white tissue.
8. Dab with a cloth soaked in the product and then rinse well with warm water.
