Small finger injuries are common during daily work, but in a professional environment such as the food industry, these wounds can pose a risk to hygiene and safety. A regular plaster that comes loose or ends up in the production line unnoticed can have major consequences. The Heltiq Detect finger plaster offers the solution here by combining maximum visibility with a firm adhesion, so that you can continue working with peace of mind and in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
- Optimal detection: The striking blue colour and the built-in metal strip make the plaster immediately traceable both visually and via metal detectors.
- Extra firm fixation: Due to the length of 180 mm, the plaster can be wrapped around the finger several times, ensuring it stays in place even during intensive bending.
- HACCP-suitable: Specially developed for use in the food processing industry where strict safety requirements apply.
- Wearing comfort: The elastic PE material moves with your joint, which ensures freedom of movement is maintained during your work.
How it works
This plaster is technically designed for environments where food safety is a priority. The blue colour is chosen because this colour does not naturally occur in food products, which facilitates visual inspection. In addition, the aluminium strip under the wound pad ensures that electronic detection systems immediately signal the plaster should it unexpectedly come loose. The asymmetrical adhesive side ensures that the plaster overlaps itself for a mechanically strong connection.
