You can use the HeltiQ Maternity mattress both before and during childbirth. For optimal protection of your mattress when your waters break, it is best to use the maternity mattress in combination with a HeltiQ Mattress protector and a HeltiQ Underpad.
If a single bed
Place the HeltiQ Mattress protector between the mattress and the fitted sheet
Tuck the sides under the mattress
Place the HeltiQ Maternity mattress on top of the mattress protector
Place a fitted sheet
Place the HeltiQ Underpad on the fitted sheet approximately 10 days before the due date for extra moisture absorption
If a double bed
Place the mattress protector between the mattress and the fitted sheet on the pregnant woman's side of the bed
