Ingredients
The active substances in this medicine are lidocaine hydrochloride and propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate. The excipients in this product are magnesium stearate, potassium aluminium sulphate, peppermint oil and sorbitol.
Use & Dosage
Adults and young adults from 12 to 18 years: Up to 8 lozenges per day, with a maximum of 1 lozenge every 2 hours. Children between 6 and 11 years: Up to 6 lozenges per day, with a maximum of 1 lozenge every 2 hours; use exclusively under adult supervision. Maintain intervals of 2 hours. Let the lozenge dissolve slowly in the mouth; do not swallow and do not chew. Consult a doctor if there is no improvement after 3 days. Do not use for longer than 7 consecutive days.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not use if hypersensitive to lidocaine hydrochloride, other local anaesthetics of the amide type, propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate or the excipients. Not suitable for children under 6 years or in case of intolerance to certain sugars. Do not eat or drink immediately after intake; be careful with hot drinks/food due to the risk of burning caused by the anaesthetic effect. Consult a GP in case of shortness of breath, swallowing problems, unilateral complaints, chronic illnesses or fever lasting longer than 3 days.
