Heartburn and acid reflux can cause a sharp and unpleasant feeling, often at times when you want to relax or after a meal. These complaints occur when stomach acid flows back into the oesophagus, which can disrupt your daily rhythm and sleep. Maalox Chewable Tablets offer quick support by effectively neutralising excess acid in the stomach, so you can experience relief again.
- Quickly reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and oesophagus.
- Effectively relieves complaints such as heartburn and acid reflux.
- Easy-to-take chewable tablets with a fresh peppermint flavour.
- Dual action through the combination of aluminium oxide and magnesium hydroxide.
How it works
Maalox works as an antacid: a medicine that binds and neutralises stomach acid. The combination of aluminium oxide and magnesium hydroxide ensures that the acidity in the stomach is immediately lowered. This protects the lining of the oesophagus against the irritating effect of the acid. By chewing the tablet well, the active substances are optimally released for a quick effect.
