Ingredients
The active substance in this medicine is acetylsalicylic acid (500 mg per tablet). The other ingredients (excipients) are maize starch and cellulose powder (E460).
Use & Dosage
For adults and children weighing more than 50 kg (approximately from 15 years of age): 1 tablet of 500 mg, to be repeated if necessary after at least 4 hours. In case of more severe pain or fever 2 tablets of 500 mg, to be repeated if necessary after at least 4 hours, without exceeding the maximum dosage of 6 tablets per day. The maximum daily recommended dosage is 3 grams of acetylsalicylic acid or 6 tablets per day. For elderly patients: 1 tablet of 500 mg, to be repeated if necessary after at least 4 hours. In case of more severe pain or fever: 2 tablets of 500 mg, to be repeated if necessary after at least 4 hours, without exceeding the maximum dosage of 4 tablets per day. The maximum daily recommended dosage is 2 grams of acetylsalicylic acid, or 4 tablets per day. For children weighing between 30 and 50 kg (approximately from 9 to 15 years of age): the dose depends on the weight. The recommended daily dose is approximately 60 mg/kg, divided into 4 to 6 doses. Children 30-40 kg: 1 tablet at a time, maximum 4 per day. Children 41-50 kg: 1 tablet at a time, maximum 6 per day. Maintain at least 4 hours between doses. Take the tablet by mouth with a large amount of water or dissolved in water. It is best taken before or during a meal.
