How it works
The Gentle Day Tampons Regular distinguish themselves by the exclusive use of pure, organically grown cotton, without synthetic absorbents or plastic coverings. Cotton naturally has a high absorption capacity and breathes excellently, which helps to keep the natural pH value and microflora of the intimate area in balance. By choosing GOTS-certified organic cotton, you avoid contact with harmful chemicals often used in regular cotton cultivation. This makes these tampons an extremely safe choice for your daily routine during your period.

Use & Dosage
A tampon offers comfort and safety. For the first use, it is normal to practice for easy and comfortable insertion: Wash your hands. Open the packaging and first remove the foil on the string side. Adopt a comfortable, relaxed position. Stand upright with slightly bent, apart knees, or with one foot on the toilet seat. Unwind the string and pull it briefly to check that the ends are connected. Push your index finger into the hollow and remove the remaining foil. Insert the tampon with a slight arc as deep as possible into the vagina. The string remains outside your body. If you feel nothing, the tampon is positioned correctly. If you feel discomfort, it has not been inserted deep enough. Remove and replace the tampon and ensure you place it deep enough. Change the tampon every 3-6 hours, depending on your period. To remove, stand with your legs apart, bend your knees slightly, and relax. Pull the string in the same direction as the insertion. If it feels uncomfortable upon removal and you see white fibres, the tampon may not be saturated enough. Always use a tampon with the lowest possible absorption capacity that meets your flow. Ensure that you have always removed the last tampon before inserting a new one or when your period is over.
Safety & Disclaimer
Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) is a rare but serious illness caused by toxins from the Staphylococcus aureus bacterium. It can occur in women, men, and children. Although rare, it is essential to recognise the symptoms and take immediate action. Possible symptoms of TSS (can occur individually or in combination): Sudden high fever (39 degrees Celsius or higher), dizziness, vomiting, muscle pain, skin rash (similar to sunburn). In a more advanced stage, the skin may start to peel. TSS can develop during or shortly after the menstrual period and worsen quickly. If you experience one or more symptoms, remove the tampon immediately and consult a doctor directly. Mention that you have used tampons and are concerned about TSS. Always consult a doctor before using tampons again after a suspicion of TSS. You can reduce the risk of TSS by using tampons with the lowest required absorption capacity and replacing them regularly (every 3-6 hours). Also consider using sanitary pads at least once a day instead of a tampon. The risk of TSS decreases significantly when not using tampons, but does not disappear completely.
