Ingredients
The active ingredient is glucosamine. This is present in the form of glucosamine hemisulphate 2KCl-potassium chloride complex, corresponding to 400 mg of glucosamine (= 509 mg of glucosamine hemisulphate). Excipients: magnesium stearate, gelatin and titanium dioxide (E 171).
Use & Dosage
Adults and the elderly: Take 1 capsule 3 times a day (this means 1200 mg of glucosamine, corresponding to over 1500 mg of glucosamine hemisulphate). The daily dose can also be taken all at once. The capsule(s) must be taken with a full glass of water. Glucosamine is not recommended for acute pain. The effect is usually noticeable within a few weeks after the start of treatment and in some cases longer. If no improvement occurs after 2-3 months, the treatment should be re-evaluated. Children: Glucosamine Pharma Nord must not be used by children under 18 years of age without the supervision of a doctor. Maximum dosage: 3 capsules per 24 hours. Take with a full glass of water. The daily dosage may also be taken all at once. Use is not advised for acute pain, as the effect is noticeable after several weeks of use.
