When you or your family members deal with an injury, you want the wound care to remain reliably in place without restricting freedom of movement. A poorly fitting bandage can shift or constrict, which disrupts the healing process and causes discomfort during daily activities. The Heltiq Elastic fixation bandage offers the necessary support by firmly fixing compresses, while the elasticity ensures that you can continue to move unhindered.
- High elasticity ensures optimal freedom of movement, ideal for use on joints and moving body parts.
- Reliable fixation keeps gauze compresses and ointment gauze compresses securely in place for undisturbed recovery.
- Versatile for the whole family, specifically tailored to the anatomy of both children and adults.
- Breathable material mix of polyester and viscose contributes to pleasant wearing comfort on the skin.
How it works
This fixation bandage has been developed with health and convenience in mind. Thanks to the specific weaving technique and material choice, the bandage stretches with the contours of the body. This makes it particularly suitable for difficult locations such as the knee, shoulder, or torso in children, and the forearm or lower leg in adults. As your trusted health partner, VitAdvice offers a practical solution that fits seamlessly into the first aid kit of every household.

Use & Dosage
Wrap the elastic fixation bandage as much as possible in a “tiled” manner, where the layers partially overlap. Pull the bandage only slightly, so that it does not constrict. When bandaging, work as much as possible from narrow body parts towards wider body parts, for example from the ankle towards the calf.
Versatility & Disclaimer
Do not apply the bandage too tightly, as this will constrict. You can recognise a bandage that is applied too tightly by: discolouration of the protruding parts, worsening of pain, tingling or numbness in the protruding parts, reduced ability to move the protruding parts. An elastic fixation bandage is not intended for applying a support or compression bandage. For this, you should use a HeltiQ Cambric Bandage or a HeltiQ Ideal Support Bandage. Medical device. Read the instructions for use before use.
