Use & Dosage
KETOSTIX reagent strips are intended for in vitro diagnostic use only. Do not swallow. TEST INSTRUCTIONS: Required materials: KETOSTIX reagent strips, Stopwatch or watch (with second hand), Clean, dry collection container. Step 1. Remove the strip from the vial or foil packaging. (If the strip is in a vial, close the vial tightly again immediately.) Do not touch the test area of the strip. Check the expiry date. Step 2. Dip the test end of the strip into a fresh urine sample and then remove the strip immediately. Step 3. Start timing immediately. Step 4. Compare the test area with the colour chart AFTER EXACTLY 15 SECONDS. Step 5. Record the result.
