How it works
The active ingredient in Norit 200mg is activated charcoal. This natural component has a very large internal surface area, which enables it to bind harmful or unwanted substances present in the gastrointestinal tract to itself. This process, also known as adsorption, helps to safely remove these substances from the body via natural means.

Activated charcoal, gelatine, titanium dioxide (E171) and black iron oxide (E172).
Use & Dosage
Take 3-4 capsules at a time; maximum 12 capsules per day. Take the capsules with water. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the substances in this medicine, if you have a complete blockage in your intestines, or if you have sudden abdominal pain and inflammation in the intestines. There is a risk of dehydration; drink 2 litres of water per day. The effect of medicines such as the contraceptive pill, blood thinners, heart medication (digoxin), or medicines for epilepsy/bipolar disorder may be reduced. Consult a doctor in case of persistent complaints, blood in the stool, or during pregnancy/breastfeeding. Stool may turn black. Do not use for longer than 14 days without medical advice.
