How it works
HG Waterproof Synthetic Textile lays an invisible, wafer-thin protective layer around the individual synthetic fibres of your textile. This barrier ensures that water droplets and dirt particles cannot soak into the fabric, but simply bead off. By activating the treatment with heat – for example by ironing or drying in a tumble dryer – the formula adheres optimally to the fibres. This extends the lifespan of your clothing and supports an active, comfortable lifestyle for the whole family.

Use & Dosage
Follow the steps below to use HG waterproof 100% synthetic textile:
Instructions for the hand wash method:
1. The garment to be treated must be clean and dry.
2. Fill a bucket, bowl or sink with approximately 6 litres of lukewarm water.
3. Dose 100 ml of product for every kilo of laundry.
4. Then submerge the garment in this solution and turn it regularly for 15 minutes.
5. Then rinse with cold water.
6. The effect of this product is enhanced by heat and therefore it is preferable to iron the textile before it is completely dry or dry it in a tumble dryer.
7. However, first consult the washing instructions of the textile to see if this is permitted. Otherwise, let it dry on a washing line.
Instructions for the washing machine:
1. The clothing to be treated must be clean and dry.
2. Ensure that the washing machine is not completely full; the laundry must be able to move freely in the drum.
3. The detergent drawer of the washing machine must be completely free of detergent residues. So clean it first if necessary. Detergent breaks down the effect of HG waterproof 100% synthetic textile.
4. Choose the coloured wash programme (without pre-wash) or, if the washing instructions of the textile advise this, the delicate or wool wash programme (without pre-wash). Do not add detergent or fabric softener. The temperature depends on the washing instructions of the textile, but may be a maximum of 40 degrees.
5. Start the washing machine and after about 15 seconds add 100 ml of product for every kilo of textile to the running water via the detergent drawer. (Do not use the product in a laundry ball.)
6. Complete the entire wash programme. The effect of this product is enhanced by heat. Therefore, it is preferable to iron the textile before it is completely dry or dry the textile in a tumble dryer. However, first consult the washing instructions of the textile to see if this is permitted. Otherwise, let it dry on a washing line.
