Because the body cannot produce these fatty acids in large quantities itself, a high-quality supplement is a reliable addition. The beneficial effect for the baby is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg DHA by the mother, in addition to the recommended daily intake of 250 mg DHA and EPA.
