How it works
The active ingredient in Aleve Select is naproxen sodium. This is an NSAID that effectively addresses the signals of pain and inflammation in the body. Unlike some other painkillers, naproxen is known for a longer residence time in the body, meaning you need to take a new tablet less often to stay comfortable.

Ingredients
Microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, talc, polyethylene glycol 8000, titanium dioxide (E171), hypromellose (E464) and indigo carmine (E132).
Use & Dosage
Starting dose for adults is 2 tablets, after 12 hours another 1 tablet; then if necessary 1 tablet 2-3 times a day with 8-12 hours between doses. For those aged 12 to 18 (over 50 kg) and those over 65, no more than 1 tablet 2 times a day with 12 hours between doses. Take the tablet with a large amount of water or milk immediately after a meal. Do not use for longer than 10 days without consulting a doctor.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not use in case of allergy to naproxen, severe renal impairment, stomach or intestinal ulcers, internal bleeding, severe heart failure or during the last 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid use in case of chickenpox or shingles. Can cause stomach problems with long-term use. Read the package leaflet before use and pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.
