This basic multi-mineral without iron, copper and iodine is ideal if you cannot have extra iron (iron storage disease), extra copper (copper storage – Wilson's disease), or extra iodine (thyrotoxicosis). Extra iron is also not recommended when levels in the body are sufficient, given its pro-oxidative effect and indications of an increased risk of arteriosclerosis. Menopausal women and men should be cautious with extra iron. Blood donors and menstruating women may be better off using a product with iron (MultiMin Medium).
