Usage
Coconut cream, also known as santen, is the pure flesh of the coconut, which is essentially concentrated coconut milk. The cream can be used in any dish where santen or coconut milk is required. The ratio to coconut milk is approximately 1 to 5. Half a block of santen with 500ml of water is equivalent to 1.5 cans of coconut milk. If a recipe calls for 400ml of coconut milk, add 1/3 block of santen and extra liquid.
