Supporting your newborn baby's natural sucking need can come with the necessary uncertainties. You want to reduce cramps and restlessness, but may worry whether a dummy will interfere with breastfeeding or the natural development of the mouth. This subtle tension can affect your precious first moments together. The Bibs Anatomical Dummies Size 1 in the soothing colours Blush and Woodstock offer the responsible, gentle support you are looking for. Designed to reflect the natural shape of the mother's breast, this dummy brings immediate comfort and calm to your family's daily routine.
The Bibs Anatomical dummy has been developed with in-depth knowledge of infant physiology. Through the specific anatomical curve and the angled tip, the teat stimulates an active and correct sucking technique that strongly resembles drinking at the breast. The matte shield prevents vacuum suction on the skin. This makes the dummy a reliable partner to calm your baby, while the natural growth of the jaw and mouth muscles is responsibly respected.

Natural rubber latex (teat), 100% food-safe polypropylene (PP) (shield).
Part of good dummy hygiene is regular cleaning of the dummies. The younger the child, the more important it is to protect them from bacteria and to maintain good dummy hygiene. This is mainly because children's immune systems are not yet able to become familiar with all the different bacteria, and therefore have not yet learned to "defend" themselves against everything.
Before first use, place the dummy in plenty of boiling water for 5 minutes to ensure hygiene. This only applies to the first use. When you clean the dummy after this, follow these three simple steps:
1). Place the dummy in a clean bowl. Pour plenty of boiling water over it.
2). Let the dummies soak for about 5 minutes.
3). Take them out and let them dry on a dry towel.
All our dummies are equipped with a valve, so make sure you squeeze excess water out of the teat once it has cooled down. Natural rubber can in some cases transfer to the shield, so it is important to heat in plenty of water and not to treat too many dummies at the same time.
How often should I clean the dummies?
Premature babies and babies up to 3 months benefit from more thorough and frequent cleaning than babies older than 3 months. Therefore, the teat should be cleaned more often if the child is younger than 3 months. We always recommend that dummies are cleaned at least once a day.
Recommended for children aged 0-36 months (Size 1 is specifically suitable for newborns). Complies with the European standard EN 1400 + A2. Check the dummy carefully before each use by pulling it in all directions. Throw the teat away at the first signs of damage or weakness. Replace natural rubber dummies every 4 to 6 weeks for hygienic and safety reasons.
