How it works

Bepanthen Baby Ointment works based on a specially formulated emulsion with a high content of lipids and dexpanthenol (provitamin B5). Upon application, the ointment forms a supple, protective layer on the skin surface. This layer prevents irritating substances from urine and stool from directly affecting the skin. At the same time, the dexpanthenol penetrates the skin to strengthen the natural barrier function and support recovery from within, while allowing the skin space to ventilate.

Ingredients

Aqua, lanolin, paraffinum liquidum, petrolatum, panthenol, prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, cera alba, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, ozokerite, glyceryl oleate, lanolin alcohol, BHT, tocopherol.

Usage & Dosage

For red baby bottoms: apply at the first signs of redness or at every nappy change to the delicate baby skin. Daily use protects baby bottoms against redness and helps the skin recover from red baby bottoms.

For care and soothing of delicate baby skin: apply to the skin as needed several times a day, e.g., cheeks, elbows, skin folds, hands, or knees (e.g., after a bath).

Also suitable for nipple care: cares for and soothes sensitive nipples. Wipe off any excess ointment before feeding; however, it is not necessary to wash the nipples beforehand.
