How it works

Bamboo salt is not ordinary sea salt. The production process is an expression of pure craftsmanship and patience. Sea salt is pressed into tubes of three-year-old bamboo and sealed with mineral-rich red mountain clay. This is then heated up to nine times for 8 to 15 hours over an intense pine wood fire and then ground again. During this repeated heating process, the sulphur-rich bamboo carbonises. The salt absorbs the juices, minerals and trace elements from both the bamboo and the red clay. This results in a high-quality, alkaline salt that helps to support the natural mineral balance in your body.
