How it works
Benzac Gel contains the active substance benzoyl peroxide, a scientifically recognised ingredient in the fight against acne. It works on three fronts: it is antibacterial, it loosens the top layer of skin (keratolytic effect), and it regulates sebum production. This gives new spots less chance to form, while existing blemishes dry out and heal faster. The 50mg/ml concentration is particularly suitable for sensitive skin.

Ingredients
Benzoyl peroxide, sodium dioctyl sulfosuccinate, sodium edetate, poloxamer 182, carbomer 980, propylene glycol (E1520), colloidal silicon dioxide (E551), glycerol (E422), acrylate copolymers, sodium hydroxide (E524), purified water.
Use & Dosage
Cleanse the skin with a mild, soap-free cleanser or wash the skin with lukewarm water and dry the skin carefully. Then apply a thin layer of Benzac 50 mg/ml to the affected areas in the evening (do not massage in), preferably before going to sleep. For people with sensitive skin, it is recommended to apply the gel once a day before going to sleep. Wash the gel off early in the morning. If this is well tolerated after a few days, the treatment can be continued by applying it twice a day (morning and evening). Maximum dosage: 2x per day.

Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Stop immediately if itching, swelling, or blistering occurs. External use only; avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose, and mucous membranes. Benzoyl peroxide has a bleaching effect on hair and textiles. Avoid direct sunlight or UV light during use. Contains propylene glycol (E1520) which can cause skin irritation. Consult the package leaflet for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
