Acne and spots can have a major impact on your self-confidence and the way you look in the mirror. Impurities and inflammation often cause frustration and the feeling that your skin is out of balance. Teva's Benzoyl peroxide hydrogel offers effective support to improve skin condition and combat the formation of new impurities in a responsible manner.
- Targeted bacterial control: Kills the P. acnes bacterium, which is responsible for inflammation and spots.
- Peeling effect: Helps to remove dead skin cells, making pores less likely to become clogged.
- Sebum-regulating: Inhibits the production of excess sebum, which contributes to a calmer skin appearance.
- Visible results: Existing blackheads and spots decrease in size and number with correct use.
How it works
Benzoyl peroxide is a scientifically recognised ingredient in the fight against acne. The hydrogel base ensures that the active ingredient penetrates the skin well and directly influences bacterial growth and sebum production. As an expert in the field of health and vitality, VitAdvice advises integrating this product carefully into your daily routine for optimal and lasting results.

Ingredients
Benzoyl peroxide Teva 50 mg/g contains 5% w/w benzoyl peroxide in an aqueous carbomer gel. The excipients are carbomer 940, lauromacrogol, propylene glycol (E1520), sodium hydroxide (E524), and water.
Use & Dosage
For sensitive skin or if side effects occur when using other anti-spot products, first test the gel on a small area, e.g., behind the ear or in the crook of the elbow. Cleanse the skin with a mild, soap-free cleanser or wash the skin with lukewarm water and dry the skin carefully. Then, in the evening, apply this medicine in a thin layer to the affected areas (do not massage in), preferably before going to sleep. For individuals with sensitive skin, it is recommended to apply the gel once a day before going to sleep. Wash the gel off early in the morning. If this is well tolerated after a few days, treatment can be continued by applying twice a day (morning and evening). If this does not provide sufficient results and the medicine is well tolerated, one can switch to a gel with a higher concentration of benzoyl peroxide (100 mg/ml). Maximum 2x per 24 hours.
