How it works

Biotona Beginner's matcha tea organic is made from the finest ground leaves of the Camellia sinensis from Japan. Because with matcha you consume the entire tea leaf in powder form, you benefit optimally from the natural nutrients that the green tea bush has to offer. The substances present are slowly absorbed by the body, which ensures a gradual and long-lasting support of your energy level and mental alertness, without the abrupt crash afterwards.

Usage & Dosage

One possible option is to drink our tea powders according to the following traditional preparation:

Bring fresh, preferably soft (lightly mineralised) water to the boil. Let the water cool down to approximately 80°C (e.g. open the kettle, wait 10 minutes or pour the water into another jug 4-5 times, as the water cools down each time it is poured). Put 1 to 2 g of tea powder (2 bamboo spoons or ½ teaspoon; to taste) into a bowl and pour the water (70-100 ml) over it. Whisk the tea for approx. 15 seconds with a bamboo whisk until it becomes a frothy liquid.

However, this is not the only way to enjoy our tea powders. Try drinking your Matcha as they do in Japan, pure with ice-cold water or “on the rocks”. Furthermore, they have endless possibilities. You can add them to your favourite smoothie or shake, hot drink, or you can incorporate them into ice cream, pastries, gourmet dishes, and even spices!
