By shielding the tea leaves from direct sunlight in the weeks before harvest, the plant develops a high content of natural amino acids and chlorophyll. Usage & Dosage

Japanese green infusion teas are prepared by infusing the processed whole tea leaves in hot water. The amount of tea and water used, as well as the water temperature and infusion time, vary depending on the tea you choose. It is important to choose soft (lightly mineralised) water and to pay attention to the water temperature. If you choose a higher temperature, the tea will taste extra bitter, unless you desire this, of course.

For an ultimate and extensive taste experience, a second (or even third) infusion can also be chosen. During the first infusion, the rolled tea leaves gradually open and release the first flavours. During a second infusion, they are already open and then release their other flavours. To do this, the same amount of water at approximately the same temperature is added to the already infused (and drained/decanted) tea leaves. Depending on personal preference, either the same or a slightly shorter infusion time can be chosen for this.
