Use & Dosage
Constipation: Like other bowel-stimulating agents, Dulcolax should in principle not be used for longer than three consecutive days. The recommended dosage is: Adults: 1 suppository (10 mg) per day. The indicated dosage must not be exceeded. Use in children over 10 years: The recommended dosage is 1 suppository (10 mg) per day. Insert anally 2-3 cm deep with the pointed end first, moistening the suppository promotes insertion; effect to be expected within +/- 20 minutes. Read the package leaflet before use. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.
