The active ingredient in this medicine is 10 mg/gram clotrimazole. The excipients are: cetyl palmitate, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60 (E435), sorbitan stearate (E491), benzyl alcohol (E1519), cetostearyl alcohol, purified water.
External use: Apply the cream thinly to the affected areas around the labia twice a day for about one week for the relief of itching and a burning sensation. This can be combined with an internally used cream or tablet. Internal use: In the evening before going to sleep, insert the cream as deeply as possible into the vagina using the supplied applicator, for six consecutive days. Insertion is best done in a supine position, with legs slightly raised and spread. Maximum dosage: 1-2 times per 24 hours, depending on the complaint. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage and read the package leaflet before use.
Do not use if: You are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine. Do not use the cream in case of pain in the lower abdomen, pain when urinating, fever, chills, irregular or abnormal bleeding, ulcers or blisters in the genital area, lower back pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, pus formation or strong-smelling discharge; always consult a doctor in these cases. Extra caution: This medicine may damage the rubber of condoms and diaphragms, making them less reliable against pregnancy and STIs. Do not use during menstruation. Consult a GP in case of pregnancy, if symptoms occur more than 3 times a year, in case of a history of STIs or if the partner has an STI, if symptoms have not disappeared after 7 days, or if the patient is a woman under 16 years of age.
