How it works

Valdispert Valerian Extra Strong uses the traditional power of the valerian plant (Valeriana officinalis L.). The active substances in the root of this plant are known to have a mild, soothing influence on the nervous system. This helps your body and mind to switch to a state of relaxation, which is desirable both during the day for mild tension and in the evening before bedtime. The extract is carefully standardised to ensure consistent quality and effect.

Composition

Ingredients

Tablet core: liquid glucose (spray-dried), anhydrous colloidal silica, powdered cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid and talc. Tablet coating: sucrose, talc, calcium carbonate (E 170), acacia, tragacanth, titanium dioxide (E 171), liquid glucose (spray-dried), Capol 600 T.S. (contains white beeswax, carnauba wax and shellac).

Use & Dosage

The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years is:
- For the relief of mild nervousness: 1 tablet 3 times a day.
- For difficulty falling asleep: 1 tablet half an hour to an hour before bedtime, if necessary with 1 extra tablet earlier in the evening.
Maximum daily dosage: 4 tablets.
Swallow the tablet whole with some water, do not chew. Do not use for longer than 14 days without consulting a doctor.
