How it works
This cream contains 50 mg of aciclovir per gram, a scientifically recognised substance in the fight against herpes viruses. As soon as you feel the first tingling, the cream helps to block the division of the virus. This gives the blisters less chance to spread, which contributes to faster healing of the skin barrier.

Ingredients
Aciclovir, PEG-5-glycerol stearate, dimethicone, cetyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, petroleum jelly, propylene glycol (E1520), purified water.
Use & Dosage
Adults and children: Apply the cream five times a day at intervals of approximately 4 hours. You do not need to apply cream at night. Start treatment as soon as possible at the onset of the cold sore. Continue treatment for at least 4 days. If healing is not complete after ten days, calculated from the start of treatment, you are advised to consult a doctor. Wash hands before and after use.

Do not use if you are allergic to aciclovir, valaciclovir, propylene glycol or any of the other substances in this medicine. Avoid any contact with mucous membranes (mouth, eye, vagina) to prevent irritation. Avoid contact with the blisters to prevent infection. During pregnancy: May be used. During breastfeeding: Not preferred, consult your doctor. Consult a GP for babies, persistent symptoms after 14 days, spreading of inflammation, pus formation, blisters on other parts of the body, or in case of a weakened immune system/eczema.
