The unique action of Vitals Curcumin SLCP (Longvida®) is inspired by traditional Indian cuisine, where turmeric is always prepared with fats. Using Solid Lipid Curcumin Particles (SLCP), the curcumin is packed into a fat-like particle consisting of phosphatidylcholine, stearic acid and ascorbyl palmitate. This enables the body to recognise the curcumin as a long-chain fat. Instead of being transported directly to the liver and broken down there, it is absorbed via the lymphatic system. This allows the curcumin in its free, active form to enter the bloodstream directly to optimally support your tissues and organs.
