The gluten-free cake mix from Damhert has been developed to compensate for the specific baking properties of gluten with a balanced combination of rice and maize flour, supported by potato and maize starch. Xanthan gum has been added as a natural thickener to provide the elasticity and binding that are normally provided by gluten. Usage & Dosage

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Ensure the ingredients are at room temperature. Mix 225g of margarine or butter, 4 eggs and 450 grams of cake mix and beat until a smooth batter. Pour the batter into a greased cake tin and bake the cake for 50 - 60 minutes at 180°C.
