How it works
Healthypharm Diclofenac HTP 1% gel contains diclofenac sodium, an active substance belonging to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Unlike tablets, this gel is applied directly to the skin over the painful joint. The active ingredients penetrate the skin layers to relieve pain locally, which contributes to better mobility during daily activities.

Ingredients
diclofenac sodium, sodium hydroxide, hydroxyethyl cellulose, carbomer, propylene glycol, triglycerides, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), purified water.
Use & Dosage
Adults: Apply this medicine 4 times a day to the area of the knee or hand that is painful. Gently rub a small amount of this medicine onto the skin where the pain is located. The required amount depends on the size of the painful area. Usually, an amount the size of a cherry to a walnut is sufficient. Wipe hands after using this medicine with absorbent paper (e.g. kitchen roll), unless of course the hands were the area to be treated, and then wash hands to prevent unintended contact. Maximum dosage: 4x per 24 hours.

Do not use if: you have ever had an allergic reaction to diclofenac, or other medicines to treat pain, fever or inflammation, such as ibuprofen or acetylsalicylic acid. During the third trimester of your pregnancy. Do not use on open wounds, eczema, acne, infected skin, mucous membranes or near the eyes. Do not apply under airtight dressings and avoid sunlight and sunbeds during treatment and for 2 weeks afterwards. Stop use immediately in case of skin rash and contact a doctor. During pregnancy or breastfeeding: Must NOT be used, unless on strict advice of a doctor. Read the package leaflet before use.
