How it works
Betadine ointment gauze combines the benefits of a protective bandage with the power of povidone-iodine. This disinfectant is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, with no bacterial resistance observed. The fat-rich base of the ointment prevents the gauze from sticking to the wound, which ensures more comfort during wear and when changing the bandage.

Ingredients
Wound gauze with Betadine ointment (100 mg/g povidone-iodine). Also contains: Macrogol 400, 4000 and 6000 and purified water.
Use & Dosage
Clean the wound, clean and dry the skin around the wound. Apply gauze to the wound. Cover the gauze with (breathable) bandage and attach this to the skin with tape. Change the bandage daily. Do not use Betadine ointment gauze for longer than 14 days without consulting your doctor.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not use in case of: Newborns and premature babies, long-term use on large skin areas during pregnancy, an overactive thyroid, iodine hypersensitivity. Pregnant women should avoid use. After application, breastfeeding should be interrupted for at least 24 hours. For external use only. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Caution is advised in case of thyroid disorders. Not to be used for the prevention of tetanus. In case of serious wounds, medical assessment is necessary. Store in a dark place at 15–25°C.
