How it works
Celtic sea salt owes its characteristic grey colour to the interaction with the clay soil of the French salt marshes. During this natural process, the salt mixes with valuable clay minerals, while the marshes simultaneously act as a natural purification filter. Because the salt is not chemically processed or washed, essential minerals such as magnesium, calcium and iodine remain present in their natural proportions. Due to the pronounced, full flavour, you also need significantly less salt to season dishes than with standard refined table salt.
