Use & Dosage
Wrap the elastic fixation bandage in a “tiled” fashion as much as possible, where the layers partially overlap. Pull the bandage only slightly, so that it does not constrict. When bandaging, work as much as possible from narrow body parts towards wider body parts, for example from the ankle towards the calf.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not apply the bandage too tightly, as this will constrict. You can recognise a bandage that is applied too tightly by: discolouration of the extremities, worsening of pain, tingling or numbness in the extremities, reduced ability to move the extremities. An elastic fixation bandage is not intended for applying a support or compression bandage. For this, you should use a HeltiQ Cambric Bandage or a HeltiQ Ideal Support Bandage.
