How it works
Aleve Feminax contains naproxen sodium, an active substance that inhibits the production of substances that cause cramps and pain in the uterus. By taking the tablets as soon as you feel the first signs of period pain, the medicine helps to control the intensity of the symptoms throughout the day and night.

Ingredients
microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, talc, polyethylene glycol 8000, titanium dioxide (E171), hypromellose (E464) and indigo carmine (E132).
Use & Dosage
Starting dose 2 tablets, then if necessary 1 more tablet every 8-12 hours until the symptoms have passed. Maximum 3 tablets per 24 hours. For the elderly and patients with a liver function disorder, use the lowest possible effective dose. Take the tablet with a large amount of water or milk, preferably immediately after a meal. Do not use for longer than 10 days without consulting a doctor.

Do not use if allergic to naproxen or other NSAIDs, severe kidney or heart function disorders, stomach ulcers, active bleeding or during the last 3 months of pregnancy. Consult a doctor if the pain started after the age of 25 or worsens every month. Be careful with gastrointestinal or heart problems. Read the package leaflet before use.
