How it works
The Ferri-check is a rapid immunodiagnostic test that specifically detects the protein ferritin in the blood. Ferritin acts as the storage site for iron in your cells; a value that is too low is a direct indicator of an iron deficiency. By using a whole blood sample via a finger prick, this test offers an accessible method to monitor your internal health values as part of your personal preventive care.

Ingredients
This product contains a test cassette, a plastic pipette, a dropper bottle with dilution fluid and a sterile single-use lancet.
Use & Dosage
1. Prepare the test device, the pipette and the dropper bottle with diluent. Remove them from the protective pouch. Remove the screw cap from the dilution dropper bottle and keep it nearby.
2. Clean the tip of the middle finger or ring finger with cotton wool moistened with alcohol. Press the lancet firmly against the side of the previously cleaned finger and press the release button.
3. Bring the plastic pipette into contact with the blood sample without pressing the bulb. The whole blood migrates into the pipette by capillarity to the line indicated on the pipette.
4. Dispense the blood into the sample opening of the cassette by pressing the pipette. Wait 30-40 seconds for the blood to be absorbed. Unscrew the blue cap of the dropper bottle and keep the white cap in place. Add 4 drops of diluent to the well, at intervals of 2-3 seconds. Read the result after 10 minutes. Do not interpret after 15 minutes.
