How it works

Salus Floradix Iron Elixir is designed based on years of herbal knowledge and nutritional science. Unlike traditional iron tablets, which are sometimes difficult for the body to absorb, this liquid elixir offers iron in the form of iron(II) gluconate. This liquid form is immediately available for absorption in the intestine. The addition of selected plant extracts, such as nettle and spinach, together with fruit juices, not only ensures a pleasant taste, but also supports a mild and gentle processing in the stomach. Vitamin C is deliberately added to further stimulate the absorption of iron into the blood, making this elixir an efficient partner in your daily care.

Ingredients

Aqueous plant extract (54%) of: carrot (Daucus carota), nettle leaf (Urtica dioica), spinach leaf (Spinacia oleracea), couch grass root (Agropyron repens), fennel fruit (Foeniculum vulgare), brown algae thallus (Macrocystis pyrifera), hibiscus flower (Hibiscus sabdariffa). Mix of fruit juice concentrates (29%): pear, grape, blackcurrant juice, blackberry, cherry, orange, beetroot, carob extract, water, lemon, apple. Aqueous yeast extract, honey, aqueous extracts from rosehip (Rosa canina) (with 4% vit. C), Iron(II) gluconate, WHEAT germ extract, vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), natural flavourings, vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (sodium riboflavin-5'-phosphate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).

Usage & Dosage

Adults and children from 12 years: 10 ml twice a day, half an hour before a meal.
Children 10 - 12 years: 15ml once a day.
Children 6 – 12 years: 10 ml per day.
This food supplement is not suitable for children under 1 year.
Vitamin C promotes iron absorption, so taking it with a glass of fresh fruit juice is fine. For the best result, the elixir should be used for 3-4 weeks. Do not take with black tea, coffee or milk products, as this reduces iron absorption!
Important: Do not drink directly from the bottle.

Safety & Disclaimer

This product contains no alcohol or chemical preservatives. To prevent spoilage, close the bottle immediately after each use, store upright in the refrigerator and consume within 4 weeks. Store the unopened bottle in a cool, dry place (5 – 25 °C).
