Use & Dosage

Feeding schedule advice: 10 - 12 months: 2 - 3 feeds per 24 hours, 200ml per feed, 180 ml water with 6 level scoops of follow-on milk powder. Preparation advice: 1. Wash your hands and ensure the bottle and teat are clean. 2. Bring water to the boil. Let the boiled water cool down to lukewarm temperature (approximately 37°C) and pour the required amount into the bottle. 3. Loosely pull the supplied measuring scoop through the powder and level it off using the levelling edge. 4. Add the correct number of scoops to the water in the bottle. 5. Screw the cap onto the bottle and shake gently until the powder has completely dissolved. 6. Check that the feed is not too hot by dripping it onto the inside of your wrist. Is the temperature correct? Then you can give the bottle. 7. Dry the scoop and store it on the inside of the lid. 8. Press the hand on top of the lid so that the lid clicks shut. This keeps the powder fresh. Prepared feed can be kept for no longer than one to two hours. Always discard leftover feed.

Always discuss the correct amount of feed and distribution over the day (based on age, height and weight) with your child health clinic or doctor. The feeding schedule on the packaging is a guideline and is valid from the age of 10 months. During this period, the amount of Nutrilon is reduced as part of a healthy and varied diet. Use 1 scoop per 30ml of water. It is important that a child drinks calmly. Too much, too little, poorly dissolved feed or drinking too quickly can cause your child to have tummy trouble. Your child will indicate when they have had enough, so they do not always have to finish a bottle. The decision to start with supplementary feeding, possibly also in the first 6 months after birth, may only be taken on the advice of your child health clinic or doctor based on the specific growth and development needs of your child. Close the packaging after use and store it in a cool and dry place. Once opened, the contents can be kept for a maximum of 4 weeks.
