Fold the menstrual cup using the method most comfortable for you (e.g., the C-fold or the punch-down fold) and insert it carefully. The cup can remain in place for up to 12 hours, depending on the heaviness of the period. Remove the cup by gently squeezing the base to break the vacuum, empty the contents into the toilet, rinse the cup thoroughly with water and reinsert it. Clean and sterilise the cup thoroughly before first use and after the end of each menstrual period.
Use the menstrual cup only according to the instructions for use. Do not use the cup for longer than 12 consecutive hours without emptying and cleaning it. Consult a doctor or gynaecologist before use if you have an intrauterine device (IUD), have recently undergone a gynaecological procedure or suffer from vaginal infections.
