Boil the menstrual cup for a few minutes in plenty of water before first use to sterilise it. Wash your hands thoroughly before inserting and removing. Fold the cup and insert it carefully. The cup can remain in place for up to 12 hours. When removing, gently squeeze the bottom of the cup to break the vacuum, empty the contents, rinse the cup with water, and reinsert it.
