How it works
Gentle Day Tampon Super Plus works in harmony with your body thanks to the use of exclusively pure, organic cotton fibres. Unlike synthetic alternatives, organic cotton absorbs moisture in a natural and efficient way without disrupting the natural pH balance of the vagina. The absence of fragrances, chlorine bleaches, and chemical residues ensures that sensitive mucous membranes are not exposed to irritants. This makes the tampon extremely suitable for women with sensitive or easily irritated skin who need maximum but mild protection during the heavier days of their menstrual cycle.

Usage & Dosage
A tampon is designed for comfort and safety during menstruation. When using tampons for the first time, it may take some practice for easy and comfortable insertion. Follow these steps:1. Wash your hands. Hold the tampon with both hands and twist the packaging open in the direction of the arrows. Remove the foil on the string side first.2. Adopt a comfortable, relaxed position. Standing upright with slightly bent, spread knees and one foot on the toilet seat is a common position to easily reach the vaginal area.3. Unwind the string and pull it firmly to check that the ends are connected.4. Push your index finger into the dimple at the end of the tampon and remove the remaining foil.5. Insert the tampon as deeply as possible into the vagina, in a slight arc. This is easiest when your body is relaxed. The string will hang outside your body afterwards.6. When the tampon is inserted correctly, you will feel nothing. If you feel any discomfort, the tampon is likely not inserted deeply enough. Remove the tampon and insert a new one, ensuring it is deep enough.Replace the tampon every 3-6 hours, depending on the heaviness of your period. To remove, stand with your legs apart and bend your knees slightly, relax. Pull the string in the same direction as you inserted the tampon. If it feels uncomfortable when removing or you see white fibres, the tampon may not be sufficiently saturated.Always use a tampon with an absorption capacity that matches your period (lower than the maximum flow). Ensure you are certain you have removed the last tampon before inserting a new one. Do not use tampons in between or before your period.
Safety & Disclaimer
TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) is a rare but serious illness caused by toxins from Staphylococcus aureus. Although rare, it is essential to know the risks and symptoms, especially for menstruating women. Symptoms include sudden high fever (39°C+), dizziness, vomiting, muscle pain, and skin rashes (sunburn-like). These can quickly evolve from flu-like symptoms to a life-threatening condition. If you experience one or more symptoms: remove the tampon immediately and consult a doctor. Mention tampon use and your concerns about TSS. Consult a doctor before using tampons again after a suspected TSS case. Reduce the risk by choosing tampons with the lowest necessary absorption and changing them every 3-6 hours. Consider alternating with sanitary pads. Without tampons, the risk of TSS is greatly reduced, but not completely eliminated.
