Use & Dosage
1. Before the measurement procedure, check that the liquid column is at least below 36 °C. 2. Clean the glass thermometer before and after use. 3. Place the thermometer on the body according to the type of measurement (oral, rectal, axillary). 4. After at least 4 minutes, the thermometer has recorded the body temperature. The measuring liquid in the measuring capillary of the thermometer shows the measured body temperature on the temperature scale. Reading the temperature can be facilitated by turning the thermometer slightly back and forth. 5. After the measurement, the display liquid must be brought back to at least below 36 °C. To do this, hold the thermometer as far as possible at the top end and shake it with at least 15 to 20 quick movements from the wrist. Also bring the display liquid back down if you want to take another measurement.
